We are pleased to announce that our guest for our Podcast of January 31, 2022 is Father Jay Gantz, from the Flint, MI St. Andrews Church. Father Jay has been involved in working with people in recovery in large inner-city parishes and soup kitchens throughout the US. He has very successfully operated a soup kitchen in his Flint church for over 20 years, feeding the bodies and souls of people who, without his efforts, would literally starve for lack of food and/or spiritual assistance with their various recoveries. Flint has been the most impoverished city in the USA and crime and addiction is many times a bedfellow with this condition. St Andrews Church is a “safe zone” in the most impoverished, crime ridden portion of the city. This is because of the efforts of Father Jay bringing love and hope to the people of the area. He has a special message that can be used by anyone!
Our Spirituality and Recovery podcast has been in operation since August 2021. We have put out a lot of information about Spirituality and how it is the foundation of any recovery. The addition of guests will only enhance our message.
