Spirituality and Abundance

“I don’t have a pot to go in or a window to throw it out of so how can I ever be Happy, Joyous, and Free?” “I am so poor I can’t afford to even pay attention.” “So, how can I ever possibly get ahead?” Wayne Dyer tells us “Doing what you love is the cornerstone of having abundance.” When he says this, he is not talking just about dollars and cents. He speaks of living our human experience in this life to the utmost.

What does this mean? It means that the Law of Attraction is ALWAYS in play. A reminder of what the Law of Attraction is that is what we put into the mirror of our lives, we get back exactly as entered. Just as is the image we see when we first get up in the morning and face the mirror of the wall. If I have not shaved and have a wart on the end of my nose and a black eye, that is the image that I see in the mirror. If I present a similar image to the world as I face it in my daily activities, I get similar results from others who see this “face.”

If I am snarly and out of sorts, people around me are snarly and out of sorts. If I am smiling, others smile also, or at the very least are more tolerable. If I give off the image of love, understanding, joy, gratitude, and/or compassion, I am amazed at how quickly I am blessed by returned gestures or, as said before, at least more tolerance. This is what Wayne Dyer was speaking of in the earlier quote.

Abundance means many things to different people. To someone who is sad and going through tragic times, abundance could very well be an outpouring of love, comfort, and compassion from others to let them know that they do not have to shoulder the load alone. To someone who has never had or has lost monetary support, abundance could mean receiving a pat of the back or a helping hand with a project or a meal with nothing asked in return. If I can only love EACH AND EVERYONE WHO COMES INTO MY LIFE, I will very quickly receive an abundance of love and support and some of it coming “out of the blue,” so to speak.

Did you ever wonder why something happened that was particularly wonderful and you never expected it or it came from a complete stranger? This is because of something you have done for someone else at some time and maybe even had the thought at the time about why they didn’t even acknowledge your existence, let alone thank you for whatever you did? What goes around, comes around is the way The Law of Attraction is voiced in the streets. “Good Karma, Bad Karma?” However you want to describe it, it is all The Law of Attraction. That is the truth or WORD.

I have something that I wish you to try. For one week, go out of your way to present your very best image into the Mirror of Life and next Monday tell us what, if anything happened. Wake up in the morning, or even  later today, and think about how you can today present a great image and note the responses. Don’t go into this expecting anything at all in return. Then let us know if you were glad, sad, or just confused at the results.
