both show us that the universe is us and we are the universe.
Physical laws, such as gravity, are known to us all as real and true. Spiritual Laws are also as real and serious as anything could possibly be.
The Law of Divine Oneness is the foundational law showing that absolutely everything in our universe is interconnected.
In other words, every choice, word, desire, and belief we have will also have an impact on the world and on the people in our lives. Sometimes, this impact will be immediate and obvious.
At other times, it may take some time to manifest, or we may never even know when or where it has occurred.
Got something for you to try!
The next time you go through a drive-through lane of a restaurant or a coffee shop, give the clerk a couple of bucks and tell them to buy the next person in line a coffee or pop.
The next person probably will not know that it was you that did it but will feel the goodwill and carry it with them for a period of time. They may even be moved to try the same thing.
Although they do not know that you were involved, the important thing is that you will know. Try to think of yourself as part of everything around you and live in accordance with this law.
We are all one, and awareness of this makes us more powerful as well as more empathetic.
The first two words of The Lord’s Prayer are “Our Father.” Everyone who says this prayer is talking with “our Father.” This makes us all brothers and sisters since we all share the same Father.
Please remember that AA also is a “We program.” These are ways to actually use the Spiritual concepts in our AA program and also our daily lives, not just during a meeting.
I hope and pray that we all get some good from these meetings but I also pray that we all can carry the good out into the world.
